Countless details have to be checked and managed for each individual case. This requires an exchange of information, coordination, and processing across many participating companies, often even across national borders. The overarching goal is to ensure that each policyholder and customer receives an individual, fair repair and claims settlement in the shortest possible time.
However, the processing time is over 20 days on average. Based on millions of previously processed cases and specially trained algorithms, our AI-based steering tool determines the next best action for optimal claims and repair management.
Fraud detection
We analyze each case for potential fraud by examining metadata manipulation, using AI-based detection for manipulated images, identifying AI-generated images, conducting damage pattern analysis, and performing plausibility checks on vehicle information. This comprehensive approach ensures thorough and reliable fraud detection.
Claims settlement
Cost estimations are completed, and if necessary, photo and video evaluations are conducted. Cases may be directed to a repair shop or a total loss handler. Upon the customer’s request, a payout can also be arranged.
